Description

The Clad Boy CB4 is the most widely used vacuum lifter for roofing and cladding worldwide - so you're in good hands!

The CB4 is a modular single-circuit vacuum lifter, which means you can add suction pads and extension bars to it to lift panels over 20 metres long.

This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge to lift the following with a Clad Boy CB4:

  • Roof panels - Under 14m in length

  • Roof panels - For steep Pitch Roof Panels 

  • Roof panels - Over 14m in length 

You must ensure you are competent using the equipment prior to lifting. If this course does not give you the competence to lift then you must contact 4 Cladding Services on 0370 741 7600.

Remote live training is also available upon request.

Objectifs

This course covers the following: 

  • Turn on and apply suction on a Clad Boy CB4.
  • Position a vacuum lifter on a panel.
  • Set up and configure the machine for different panel types and orientations.
  • Store & charge the machine overnight
  • Change seals in the suction pads.
